The shutter release button is comfortable to press, the dials are comfortable to turn, and the AF-ON button is positioned and comfortable to press, all of which are the same as those on the camera itself.

The camera's grip is enhanced when shooting in portrait mode, and the grip is also improved when shooting in landscape mode.

High stability is achieved even when a telephoto lens is attached.

Up to two Li-ion EN-EL15c rechargeable batteries can be loaded to increase the number of still image frames and movie recording time.

USB power supply (when powered on) and battery charging (when powered off) are possible with the camera installed.
